Academics

At Abilene Junior Academy, we promote academic excellence through a challenging curriculum and caring teachers.

Preschool Curriculum & Program

Daily Rhythm - The days at AJA are designed to bring your child through an engaging curriculum, bible stories, songs, artistic experiences, life skills, and creative play.

We believe that preschool children learn best through hands-on activities and quality class materials. Our unique program keeps students engaged with creative activities, interactive stories, and a world-class curriculum. This makes our lessons fun, fresh, and diverse.

For more details, please download our  Daily schedule and Curriculum.

Elementary Curriculum

Our curriculum is enriched with exposure to art, music, physical education, technology, Spanish classes, STEM, and bible classes.

The Elementary Key Learnings provide an overview of the content that students should know and be able to do in each subject area and grade. For more details the Elementary Key Learnings resources are available at this link.

Once a month the students from grades K- 8th go to an outdoor visit. They get to experience different activities and places.  Students not only build lasting friendships, but they also build a deeper connection with Jesus.
